Espresso vs. coffee

In a world full of different coffees, it might be difficult to understand how they differ. Coffee and espresso are similar in that they are made from coffee beans, but the difference lies in the grind of the bean and the brewing methods. To put it simply, espresso is a small concentrated shot of coffee, extracted using a lot of pressure. As a result, espressos have their characteristically strong taste!

How to make an espresso?

Use the espresso T DISC of your choosing. Place the T DISC in your TASSIMO machine. Your coffee machine will recognise the espresso capsule and will make the right settings to create the perfect espresso. Press the button, wait a bit, and enjoy. It's as simple as that! What is an espresso?

Wondering what an espresso is? This type of coffee comes from a coffee-brewing method of Italian origin. A small amount of nearly boiling water is forced under 9–10 bars of pressure through finely-ground coffee beans. Espresso coffee can be made with a wide variety of coffee beans and roasts.
